    Position: Operations Specialist

    Location: Jacksonville, FL

    Contract Assignment: 6/2/2025 – 6/1/2026

    Pay Range: $21.03 hourly, paid weekly.

    Schedule: Monday – Friday

     

    Potential temp to perm depending on candidate’s performance and business needs.

     

    Position Summary:

    • Investment Advisory Governance provides fiduciary oversight for the Firm's investment advisory programs and platforms which include a comprehensive and dynamic risk control framework, aligned with policies and procedures, emerging risks and changes in the marketplace that may impact market strategy and business approach.
    • This role is responsible for activities supporting the Wealth Management investment advisory programs within the Business Governance team.
    • Including reviewing and responding to program policy and procedure request as well as conducting reviews of investment and maintenance requests for client accounts, according to established guidelines and procedures.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Responds to inquiries via various channels to support operational efficiency and provide expedient quality service.
    • Performs basic research, follow-up and resolution of routine research requests.
    • Identifies potential issues in daily operational tasks and escalates risk concerns, as appropriate.
    • Reviews and approves account documentation and enrollments through systematic and manual reviews.
    • Oversight and review of business policy adherence, including the enforcement of an effective governance structure for the Firm’s investment advisory programs.
    • Prior experience in the securities or financial services industry with a strong understanding of brokerage functions and operations.
    • Attention to Detail: The ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task and process detailed information effectively and consistently.
    • Customer and Client Focus: The ability to identify, understand and prioritize the needs of internal, external, prospective and existing customers in order to provide solutions, resolve problems, and address questions.
    • Collaboration: The ability to work with others to complete a task or achieve a common goal in the most effective and efficient way.
    • Research: The ability to gather information about a topic, review, analyze and interpret the results to support a recommendation or solution.
    • Ability to assimilate and learn new information quickly for application to business processes.

     

    Required Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced demanding environment.
    • Proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint and SharePoint.

     

    Working Conditions:

    • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
    • Use of computers and technology.
