Role Summary
The Operations Support Team Member is responsible for supporting both customer-facing operations and warehouse activities. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth customer experience by coordinating installations, managing communication, and maintaining accurate inventory.
Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Support
Unload carpet and materials from trucks safely and efficiently
Operate forklifts to move inventory
Load carpet and materials onto installers’ vehicles accurately and quickly
Pull, prepare, and stage materials for installations
Load products safely and efficiently
Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
Assist with physical inventory and reporting
Customer & Project Coordination
Schedule and confirm installation appointments
Track project progress and manage service calls
Serve as the main point of contact for customers and partners
Coordinate with installers to meet timelines and quality standards
Resolve customer issues and escalate when needed
Team Support
Work closely with installers and internal teams
Maintain organized records and documentation
Support daily operational goals
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of experience in operations, customer service, or warehouse support
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in varying conditions
Preferred:
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
