    Position Overview:

    Mueller Landscape Inc. is seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations & Training Coordinator to oversee daily logistics, employee training, and shop management. This individual will play a key role in ensuring crews are prepared for the day, tools and equipment are maintained, and new hires receive proper training. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills who can occasionally step in to assist in the field if needed.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Training & Safety

    Develop and deliver safety training for crew members, including OSHA and company-specific protocols.

    Organize and facilitate the Landscaper Bootcamp for new hires.

    Conduct hands-on training for tools, equipment, and best practices.

    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

    Support ongoing employee development through mentorship and skill-building sessions.

    Daily Operations & Logistics

    Morning crew dispatch: Review work orders, distribute assignments, and ensure crews have necessary tools/materials.

    Shop management: Maintain a clean, organized shop with properly maintained and sharpened tools.

    Equipment & vehicle maintenance: Ensure all vehicles are fueled and tools are in working order.

    Materials procurement: Coordinate and pick up materials as needed.

    Inventory management: Track and order supplies, tools, and PPE.

    Field Support (Occasional)

    Step in to cover a crew leader in case of an absence.

    Assist with job site logistics when necessary.

    Conduct end-of-day check-ins with crews to review completed work and address any issues.

    Qualifications:

    Experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field.

    Strong understanding of safety protocols and crew training.

    Ability to multi-task and manage daily operations efficiently.

    Valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    Comfortable using basic computer programs for scheduling and training documentation.

    Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

    Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional overtime.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    $28.00/hour, plus overtime if exceeding 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week.

    Potential earnings with overtime: Estimated $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
