    JOB SUMMARY

    The Operations Utility Worker is a critical execution role responsible for sanitation, turnover, facilities support, asset handling, and general operational readiness across all assigned venues and event locations.

    The mandate is simple and non negotiable: keep venues clean, safe, functional, stocked, and event ready at all times. This is a physically demanding, hands on role requiring stamina, reliability, and situational judgment in a fast paced hospitality environment.

    Operations Utility Workers are expected to rotate between Julep Venue, Vesper Venue, Bramble Bay Venue, warehouses, and offsite event locations as business needs dictate. Flexibility and execution discipline are baseline expectations.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Sanitation and Janitorial Operations

    • Perform dishwashing duties including glassware, service ware, kitchen equipment, and bar tools
    • Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, workstations, storage areas, kitchens, and bar areas
    • Remove trash, recycling, and waste according to sanitation standards
    • Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior spaces including patios, entrances, and loading areas
    • Restock sanitation supplies, paper goods, and consumables

    Event Setup, Breakdown, and Turnover

    • Execute event setups and breakdowns according to floor plans and operational instructions
    • Move, stage, and reset furniture, equipment, bars, and décor
    • Complete post event load outs and venue resets to meet next day readiness standards
    • Identify and report damage, missing assets, or unsafe conditions immediately

    Facilities and Maintenance Support

    • Perform basic facilities tasks such as tightening hardware, replacing fixtures, touch up repairs, and light troubleshooting
    • Assist Facilities leadership with routine maintenance projects
    • Support vendor access for repairs, cleaning services, or inspections
    • Escalate maintenance issues beyond scope promptly and accurately

    Inventory, Assets, and Equipment

    • Handle furniture, equipment, and supplies with care to preserve asset integrity
    • Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and organization
    • Load and unload trucks, vans, and deliveries
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and warehouses

    Operational Support

    • Support operations and facilities teams during peak events and high volume periods
    • Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and cleanliness standards
    • Adhere to OSHA, health, and sanitation requirements
    • Execute tasks independently with minimal supervision once trained

    Other Duties

    • Perform additional operational duties as assigned based on business needs
    • This role requires adaptability and may evolve as operations scale

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • High reliability and attendance consistency
    • Strong work ethic and tolerance for physical labor
    • Ability to follow instructions and execute without micromanagement
    • Practical problem solving and situational awareness
    • Clear verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Valid driver license and ability to pass DMV review if required

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
    • Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and standing
    • Ability to work extended shifts on feet
    • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
    • Ability to operate basic equipment, hand tools, and vehicles as assigned

    COMPENSATION

    • Hourly rate $18 to $21, commensurate with experience
