    Job Description

    PAYROLL SPECIALIST, REMOTE/PART-TIME

    As a result of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a PART-TIME Internal PAYROLL SPECIALIST to add to our team. The resource we are seeking will be responsible for processing payroll for OperationsInc and should be able to investigate and resolve payroll issues and ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards within multiple states. The resource should also have excellent people skills and a high numerical aptitude.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:

    · Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a payroll specialist or payroll accountant

    · Experience processing payroll for organization with 100+ employees

    · Experience with MULTI-STATE PAYROLL IS REQUIRED

    · Experience with ADP WFN REQUIRED

    · Experience with a very manual payroll is a plus

    · Excellent Excel skills

    · Required competencies include attention to detail, demonstrated ability to multi-task comfort with numbers/high numerical aptitude, problem solving ability and the ability to operate in a highly confidential setting

    · Collecting payroll data and information

    · Entering data into payroll and administrative databases

    · Processing and submitting payroll for employees at OperationsInc by working with company database programs

    · Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions

    · Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns

    · Performing payroll reconciliations such as W-2s

    · Preparing payroll reports for CFO and auditing purposes

    · Report to department supervisor regarding activities and issues

    · Process and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll specifications

    · Ability to assess and actively participate in process improvement

    · Ability to evaluate processes on an ongoing basis to optimize automation and efficiency using technology
