    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operator 1 to join our team in St. Joseph, United States. As an Operator 1, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth production processes and maintaining high-quality standards.

    • Operate and monitor various production equipment and machinery
    • Load, assemble, and unload parts and components from different machines
    • Conduct regular quality inspections on parts and components to ensure adherence to quality standards
    • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate production records
    • Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and report any machine anomalies
    • Assist in training new employees and cross-train on other functions within the team
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S philosophy
    • Contribute to continuous improvement processes (CIP) and participate in Kaizen events
    • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and goals
    • Perform other essential duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
    • Previous machine operator experience is helpful but not required
    • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use and operate hand and air tools
    • Proficiency in reading various types of functional gauges
    • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
    • Good interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Basic math skills for measurements and record-keeping
    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
    • Flexibility to work overtime when required, sometimes with little advance notice
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety procedures (preferred)
    • Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to follow all safety protocols
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions efficiently
