Job Summary:

The Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to produce metal components according to company and customer specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machines to produce parts according to production schedules and quality standards
• Set up machines, including installing dies and adjusting machine parameters
• Monitor the process to ensure parts meet required specifications
• Inspect finished parts for defects
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations
• Complete production and quality documentation as required
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
• Report any malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor promptly
• Any other duties as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Previous experience in a die casting or metal manufacturing environment preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot machine

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions

• Basic math and measurement skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

• Willingness to work in hot, noisy, and industrial environments

• Availability to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
