We opened our US subsidiary in 2016 to ensure the development and distribution of the Opinel brand in the United States.     WHAT YOU’LL DO

    The Wholesale Operations Coordinator will be working closely with the Opinel USA wholesale team and external sales team providing high levels of customer service to a variety of retailers across the country. Daily responsibilities include processing orders quickly and accurately, checking inventory, and providing order status mainly via email or phone. We expect this person to be able to take on any projects as needed to support the Wholesale team including and not limited to shipment shortage claims, returns, and basic product questions.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Demonstrate a strong level of Opinel product knowledge by learning and sharing technical aspects of our products.

    Resolve escalated service issues to ensure service recovery

    Closely monitor existing orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery to retailers

    Maximize potential sales opportunities by offering additional products, substitutions and merchandising tools

    Process orders and ensure compliance with retailers shipping guidelines

    Process retailers payments and track outstanding balances ADDITIONAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS NEEDED

    Coordinate and record returns or exchange

    Sales and inventory reporting

    Issue Credit Memos

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Qualified candidates will have 1-3 years of previous customer service or sales experience. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    Other qualifications include:

    Passion for cooking and outdoor activities (hiking, fishing, hunting…)

    Experience in NetSuite ERP is preferred

    Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

    Exceptional Service Orientation: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with clients in sometimes intense situations

    Self-confidence and excellent Communication skills: Able to work independently and communicate with multiple teams and levels within an array of brands

    Attention to detail with outstanding follow-through and time management skills: Able to multitask and complete all duties on time and completely
