    JOB SUMMARY:

    Under the direct supervision of the plant controller, the Accounting Coordinator supports the financial operations in the manufacturing plant by reconciling invoices, purchase orders, and check requests.   

    The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Reconciling processed work by comparing vendor invoices to purchase order receipts.

    • Performing data entry into system by vendor invoice number and PO.

    • Manage non-PO check requests through Readsoft program.

    • Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice and recording the entry.

    • Responding to vendor inquiries regarding past due invoices and status of payment.

    • Ensuring all invoices are entered timely and correctly

    • Communicating all discrepancies with purchasing department or requistioner/ management.

     REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Familiar with standard AP processes

    • Ability to perform with sense of urgency to meet multiple deadlines

    • Ability to use numerous computer programs including outlook, excel, SAP, etc

    • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills

    • Ability to function both as valuable team member and to work independently depending on the situation.

    • Good problem-solving skills

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong work ethic
    • Desire to work additional hours (overtime).

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Sitting or standing, depending on changing job assignment, for extended periods.
    • Awkward and/or repetitive movements.
    • Routinely lifting up to 35 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
    • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
    • Work in areas of fluctuating temperature.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Must work in the plant location.
    • Must be available to work Monday-Friday 8 am to 5pm
    • Able to work 8 hours a day with frequent OT
    • Must be able to lift 20 lbs

  • Qualifications
    • Must be a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • 2-3 years experience as Instrument Room Technician.
    • Experience with all types of sterilizers.
    • Knows operating room instrumentation.
    • Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
    • Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
    • Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
    • Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
    • Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
