AML Compliance Quality Assurance Analyst The Role: The successful candidate will join an AML Compliance Quality Assurance (?AML QA?) team that performs ongoing testing of AML compliance program controls against applicable regulatory requirements and leading AML risk management guidance and best practices. In addition to testing in search of control weaknesses, AML QA also assesses for opportunities to enhance/optimize AML functions to strengthen the AML Program. Primary responsibilities of the role include: Assist in the development of a robust, ongoing AML testing plan. Conduct reviews to determine the effectiveness of AML controls. Prepare detailed workpapers to support results of reviews. Report and present findings and observations to stakeholders. Develop draft report of review results. Track the status of issues identified during reviews, assess remedial actions taken and validate their adequacy. Lead and/or participate in ad-hoc projects as necessary. Qualifications: BS/BA degree or higher. 3 years of AML experience. 2 years of experience in compliance testing and/or internal audit. Familiarity with laws and guidance applicable to money laundering (i.e. - Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC sanctions, FinCEN CDD Rule, etc.). Foundational knowledge of the securities industry. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to think critically and make objective, evidence-based recommendations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
