    Job Summary

    The Operations Specialist, Corporate Actions Reorg, performs specialized operational securities processing activities to support the firm’s business lines. The role focuses on daily deliverables, executing defined procedures, and analyzing work while understanding the “big picture” of its impact on the firm. Work will be reviewed and validated by more senior personnel.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Scrub announcements from Market Data Vendors, company information, and depositories/agents

    • Input information into the Corporate Actions platform for income and mandatory actions

    • Identify complex events and communicate to team members

    • Process Class Action suits

    • Process client instructions through manual entry into the Corporate Actions platform

    • Process agent confirmations for communication to clients

    • Communicate uninstructed positions to clients daily, verbally and in writing

    • Handle client account profile requests for Corporate Actions

    • Manually enter payments into the Corporate Actions platform

    • Balance and reconcile positions related to corporate action activity

    • Reconcile receivables and payables to ensure accurate client cash projections

    • Participate in client presentations or calls as needed

    • Identify and resolve problem items efficiently

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure superior client service

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

    • Strong PC skills and attention to detail

    • Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Time management and organizational skills

    • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines

    • Team-oriented with client service mindset

    • Ability to process transactions accurately and timely
