Optical Underground is a 4th generation San Francisco fashion eyewear company. We're using our 100+ year history and deep roots in the optical business to embrace the ever-changing retail landscape, and the intersection of e-commerce and traditional in-store retail. We need people who want to help us evolve into the new customer experience paradigm. In the coming months, we'll be launching our Enterprise grade e-commerce platform, and are looking for team members who can wear many hats as we grow our business into the future. Our Hayes Valley retail store will transform into a showroom/guide-shop for a seamless in-store/online experience. We need showroom ambassadors who are capable of providing great customer service, both in person and virtually. In addition to working with customers in store, other skills and experience we are looking for include: Fashion Marketing - working with our marketing lead to develop and execute our brand communications through social media, email campaigns and events Branding - retooling our brand guide Visual Merchandising - both in store and online Graphic design - brand guide, print and online collateral Product Development - our private label eyewear and accessories Fashion Photography - for our blog, social media and online store This is an opportunity to be part of a "100 year old start-up" and make a significant contribution to changing the way the optical business works.
