About the Role:

DLJ Spectacles Inc is looking for a passionate and personable Optical Sales Associate to join our team in Bay Shore, NY! In this role, you'll help customers find the perfect eyewear while delivering an exceptional in-store experience. If you love fashion, vision care, and connecting with people, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and optical accessories tailored to their needs and style

Provide outstanding customer service throughout the entire eyewear selection and purchasing process

Explain lens options, coatings, and upgrades to customers to maximize satisfaction

Maintain attractive frame displays and ensure showroom is organized and well-stocked

Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals

Handle customer inquiries, adjustments, repairs, and follow-ups professionally

Requirements:

Prior experience in optical sales, retail sales, or a customer-facing role preferred

Knowledge of eyewear brands, lens technology, and optical terminology is a plus

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
