Laguna Eyes Optometry is looking for a new team member. If you share our passion for premium sun and eyewear, our office may be your next home. Do you have a strong sense of style and the confidence to help our patients explore theirs? Do you understand the technicalities of spectacle lenses and how to guide patient selections? If so, we would love to meet you. Our optical manager has retired, and Dr. Harrison is looking for an exceptionally customer service-oriented team player who has a passion for providing quality eyecare.

We are looking for someone with previous experience with fashion eyewear, an understanding of optical lens design, and who enjoys sharing the latest trends with our patients. We offer a professional working environment where you have time to form lasting relationships with our community-oriented patients, offer excellent customer service, and personalized vision care.

Duties Include but not limited to: Assisting patients with frame & lens selection; taking accurate measurements for eyeglass orders; communicating orders to outside labs and act as liaison between office and lab(s); possess quality Optician skills for lens sales, trouble shooting, frame repairs and adjustments; and assist with front and back optometry office care.

Minimum Qualifications:

Attention to detail

A positive and professional attitude

Comfort with multi-tasking

At least 2 years of experience as a private practice optician

Available to work 1-2 Saturdays a month as needed
