As the Purchasing Supervisor your job duties will include:

• Overseeing a team of two buyers and one logistics specialist
• Working with overseas partner for international purchases of finished goods
• Negotiating rates with 3PL carriers and finding cost reduction opportunities
• Negotiating contracts and management of all vendors
• Sourcing domestic suppliers
• Forecasting and demand planning to ensure proper inventory
• Understanding external factors that may impact forecasting and demand
• Creating reports and working with internal business partners to understand inventory by SKU, by category, etc

You are the right person if you have:

• 5+ years of procurement experience with finished goods
• A bachelor degree in relevant field
• Proven experience implementing cost savings initiatives
• Excellent communication abilities
• Analytical skills and proven experience forecasting product demand

Salary: $70,000 to $75,000
