JOB TITLE: HOSPITAL HUMAN RESOURCE COORDINATOR TO ONBOARD STAFF/ NURSES
LOCATION: McLean VA
DURATION: Full Time
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
- HR Onboarding Specialist for healthcare Staff Workers.
- Extensive experience in healthcare and administrative areas, human resources, benefits, compliance, payroll, management, operations, home health, private practice, hospitals, nursing facilities, finance and admissions
- Creative, self-motivated, goal driven individual, dedicated and hard-working.
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment and onboarding and electronic document administration.
- Create and place online ads for certified nursing assistants and home health aides.
- Host and attend job fairs at various nursing schools, employment centers throughout Northern Virginia
- Conduct 60-90 outbound calls to applicants per
- Recruit and interview 25-30 caregivers weekly
- Hire and onboard 12-15 new hires weekly
- Review company policies, procedures, caregiver guidelines, client schedules, payroll, state and federal safety guidelines during orientation
- Work with nursing supervisor to kick-start the new caregiver-training program for continued education
- Expanded healthcare services by gaining 25 private pay clients; marketing to various healthcare facilities and local senior centers
- Managed the interviewing, hiring and orientation process of all new staff of the 284-bed rehabilitation facility
- Work directly with the Director of Nursing in coordinating the staff management plan and quality assurance plan for Health Services Dept
- KRONOS Scheduling Manager for Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Associates
- Payroll Management - Processed skilled nursing payroll reconciling associate requests on a bi-weekly basis
- Schedule Management - Coordinated staff plan with Director of Nursing, forecast on monthly basis nursing schedule
- Work in conjunction with the Director of Nursing, managing all aspects of scheduling, staffing, benefits, and payroll as it relates to nursing employees in Continuing Care
- Act as nursing services liaison for all other departments/communities
