Job Description
Responsible for mapping out sales roles and responsibilities, tracking headcount, driving quarterly incentives, and providing guidance on the structure of the sales organization. Interface with IT, HR and Finance to help execute Optimum’s sales hiring plan. Build sales tools and work with Marketing to funnel lead generation activities into the sales pipeline, as well as manage forecast reporting and territory allocation.
Essential Duties and Requirements
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee development and administration of the commission system. This includes commission plans, territory definitions, payee status, territory and account assignments, crediting rules, commission targets and quotas
- Define data integration and reporting requirements
- Ensure commissions are calculated accurately and paid timely
- Produce daily online performance reports for individual payees
- Produce monthly and quarterly management reports
- Evaluate sales incentive plans, systems and processes and initiate changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs of administration

- Experience with HubSpot, SalesForce, or a similar platform

Work Experience, Education and Skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Information Systems
- 5+ years of experience managing a sales compensation function
- 5+ years of experience defining data integration processes and compensation-related reports
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Finance background
- Experience building systems or managing organizations through change
- Major project cross-functional team leadership experience
