    HR Professionals at Optimum are responsible for managing the client relationship and providing strategic, professional HR guidance, as well as exceptional service, to assigned clients in the following areas:

    • Employee Relations
    • Company Handbooks, including updates and implementation of new policies and procedures.
    • Employment Law Compliance
    • Performance Management
    • Corrective Action
    • Terminations
    • Risk management/Workers Compensation
    • Employee and Management Training (onsite if needed)
    • Unemployment
    • Job Descriptions
    • Hiring Best Practices
    • Compensation Development
    • Investigations
    • Leaves of Absences
    • Client Visits as requested

    Requirements to be successful in this role:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum of three years of high volume Human Resources Generalist experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • PHR/SHRM Certification a plus
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative
    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
    • Strong organization skills and ability to work within strict deadlines
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
    • Strong team player

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

    This position is based in Orange County, California but temporarily working remotely.
