Optimus Properties, LLC (www.optimuspropertiesllc.com), a Real Estate Investment and Property Management Company located in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a full-time Accounting Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, detail-oriented self-starter who can multi-task. Qualified candidates should email their resume.
TASKS:
- Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
- Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
- Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
- Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
- Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.
- Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and vouchers.
- Match order forms with invoices and record the necessary information.
- Use spreadsheet software, word processing or desktop publishing software
- Compile data for financial reports
- Detect discrepancies on records or reports
- Process account invoices
- Reconcile or balance financial records
- Maintain records, reports, or files
- Perform clerical duties including typing, accepting orders, or sorting mail
- Prepare billing statements
- Light collections duties to keep update on accounts receivables
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be familiar with QuickBooks
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multitask
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual a plus - not required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
