    Position Overview: This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys both front-desk administrative duties and hands-on clinical work. You’ll be the welcoming face of the practice and a key player in the patient care journey.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Receptionist Duties:

    Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes with professionalism

    Answer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm upcoming visits

    Verify insurance benefits and handle billing inquiries

    Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient front office environment

    Optometric Assistant Duties:

    Perform pre-testing and diagnostic procedures (e.g., visual acuity, retinal imaging, tonometry)

    Assist patients with contact lens insertion, removal, and care education

    Maintain accurate patient records in EMR system

    Educate patients about eye care procedures, products, and services

    Support the optometrist and team with clinic flow and exam preparation

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in an optometry or medical office preferred

    Friendly, patient-focused, and detail-oriented

    Strong multitasking and communication skills

    Familiarity with EMR systems and optical terminology a plus

    Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team
