We are seeking an Optometric Technician that is kind, reliable and loves working with people. We are a family friendly clinic focusing on exceptional patient care experience. Our technicians develop relationships with patients and while working efficiently in the clinical setting. The Optometric Technician will work directly with patients to prepare them for the exam with the doctor.

Responsibilities:

Perform exam pre-testing, i.e. autorefraction, retinal imaging, topography

Perform exam chair side skills of visual acuity, pupil assessment, eye motility and side vision.

Enter pre-testing information, patient complaint and history into electronic medical record.

Perform ancillary testing, i.e. visual field, color vision, depth perception.

Perform basic tests of visual acuity.

Prior experience not required but a desire to learn new skills with the opportunity for certification with time and experience.
