Job Summary

We are seeking an Optometric Technician to join our team! As Optometric Technician, you will be responsible for obtaining a relevant medical history, and measuring intraocular pressures, refraction, visual acuities, and more. You will help educate patients on eye health and best practices, and maintain an organized, clean work environment at all times. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and is extremely organized.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and gather medical history and relevant information for their visit

Pretest and record all findings in Office Mate

Educate patients on best practice and eye health

Maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times

Sale of frames, contact lenses and optical supplies ordered by the Doctor

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience desired

Strong customer service skills

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent attention to detail

Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite

We are willing to train the ideal candidate with great interest to be part of our established Optometric practice
