About the Role:

Paradise Valley Eye Docs PLLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our growing eye care team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced optometrists in a patient-focused environment where your skills truly make a difference. Responsibilities:

Perform preliminary patient testing including visual acuity, tonometry, and autorefraction

Assist the optometrist during comprehensive eye exams and specialty procedures

Collect and document patient medical and ocular history accurately in EHR systems

Conduct contact lens teachings and assist patients with proper insertion and removal techniques

Prepare exam lanes, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment

Educate patients on pre- and post-exam care instructions and eyewear options

Coordinate patient flow and support front office staff as needed

Requirements:

Experience in a medical or optometry setting is a plus, but not required.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient care.

Ability to work well with a team and be adaptable.
