DNA Eye Group is looking for a dedicated Optometrist to join our team!
In 2008, our group started with just two locations and a few part-time eye doctors under DNA Eye Care. We have tried our hardest to provide the most consistent "above and beyond" patient care at every level, and with our efforts and “culture,” we have grown to eight eye care Valley locations, becoming the medical/optical team of DNA Eye Group.
We take the utmost pride in creating a comfortable atmosphere in which our patients feel absolute confidence in the transparent and thorough patient care we strive to provide for every single patient.
Essential Duties:
Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
Diagnose and treat ocular disease.
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
Recommend appropriate patient follow-up, referrals, and care options.
Answer questions and advise patients regarding vision and medical optical issues.
Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions.
Team-player, with a focus on company goals, objectives, patient retention, and growth.
Ability to work different days at other offices, within reasonable distances, based on business needs.
Weekends are essential to fulfill our patient needs.

Qualifications/Skills:
Applied understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to patients of diverse backgrounds.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
General computer proficiency.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and multitasking ability.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program
Active state optometry license
Valid CPR certificate
