    We are seeking a talented Business and Technical Program Manager to help drive growth opportunities at our specialized optics and camera design firm in the Bay Area. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, as well as managing existing client relationships and driving technical milestones with the team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and execute business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

    Research and identify potential customers and partners in target industries and market segments

    Manage inbound leads and conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, etc.

    Develop proposals and presentations to showcase our services and capabilities to prospects

    Manage the full sales cycle from lead initiation to closed deal

    Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to generate repeat business

    Serve as the key customer contact and technical program manager to provide exceptional levels of service and support

    Define customer technical deliverables and drive internal technical milestones from the team to ensure customer requirements are being met

    Requirements:

    Ideally 5+ years experience in a business development and / or technical program management role

    Deeply technical background with Engineering degree is preferred together with business management experience

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to understand customer needs and match with appropriate solutions and set realistic goals for the team

    Persistent, positive attitude and eagerness to grow the business

    Proficiency with Google Workspace applications and Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and email

    Technical aptitude and desire to learn

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to change

    Comfortable operating in less defined activities and pivoting priorities
