Opus is hiring a fulltime FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER at our office in Winchester. This is a 'hands on' position; accordingly, you will be doing the typical day-to-day accounting tasks as well as supervision and support of other office/accounting staff.

The ideal candidate will require minimal day-to-day supervision and be able to support the senior management team. This is an in-office position (not remote or hybrid).

Responsibilities:

Input and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks (desktop version)

A/P

A/R and Invoicing

Payroll

Track budgets/projections and other management benchmarks

Train/Manage/Supervise/Mentor other office and/or accounting staff

Assist outside CPA with year end reporting and tax filings

Assist in other projects as needed

Qualifications:

Proficient in Excel & QuickBooks (desktop) using CLASSES

Exceptional communication and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment

10+ years’ experience in accounting with a minimum of 5 years in RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION or related industry
