    JOB Description :

    **Job Title: Oracle FP &A Functional Specialist **

    Job Location: local to Las Vegas – 1 or 2 week in a months onsite and travel is paid.

    Duration – 6 + months CTH once converted have to go onsite

    Primary Skills & Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Oracle financial planning, analysis, and budgeting supporting finance executives
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations
    • Proficient in Oracle Essbase Cube financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel functions
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Proactive mindset, self-motivated, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

    Responsibilities:

    Client is seeking a highly skilled Oracle FP&A functional specialist to support our FP&A department. The Oracle FP&A functional specialist will be part TDD and support the Shared Services FP&A team and provide support for all FP&A efforts, including financial and business analysis, annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic planning. The Oracle FP&A functional specialist will also play a hands-on role in developing and implementing financial planning processes and tools. This position reports to Executive Director of Corporate Applications.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Financial Planning: Oracle Essbase Cube support for the development and execution of the annual financial planning process, including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oracle Essbase Cube support and collaborate with department heads to establish and manage the budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely submission of budget inputs. Perform ongoing forecasting and variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance
    • Financial Analysis: Oracle Essbase Cube support for comprehensive financial analysis to support business decisions, identify trends, and make recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to improve overall company performance
    • Reporting and Dashboards: Oracle Essbase Cube support further enhancements and maintenance of financial reports, dashboards, and key metrics to track financial performance against goals. Present findings to senior management, providing clear and concise explanations and recommendations
    • Strategic Planning: Oracle Essbase Cube support in the development of long-term strategic plans and financial models to support business expansion, new product launches, and other growth initiatives. Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their financial viability
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities in Oracle Essbase Cubes to enhance financial planning processes, tools, and systems. Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and quality of financial analysis through use of AI
    • Systems administration of Oracle Essbase Cubes reporting and modeling tool set

    Qualifications:

    • BS/BA and 5 years of relevant experience -OR-
    • MS/MA or higher and 3 years of relevant experience -OR-
    • Demonstrated experience applying theoretical/fundamental computer science concepts through the design, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of computer infrastructure and networks

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Oracle Certifications
    • Agile Certifications (e.g., Scrum etc.)
    • Proven record of multiple successful Oracle EPM and Esse Based cube implementations
