    Key Responsibilities

    Clinical / Surgical Support

    Assist the oral surgeon during procedures, including extractions, implants, and IV sedation.

    Prepare operatories, sterilize instruments, and maintain surgical equipment.

    Monitor vitals, assist with anesthesia support, and provide post-op instructions.

    Maintain accurate charting and follow infection control and OSHA protocols.

    Front Office & Administrative Support

    Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and provide excellent customer service.

    Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.

    Verify insurance benefits, obtain authorizations, and explain financial expectations.

    Answer phones, collect co-pays, process payments, and assist with billing workflows.

    Maintain organized patient records, consent forms, and correspondence.

    Support patient follow-ups and light outreach as needed.

    Qualifications

    Dental assisting experience required; oral surgery experience strongly preferred.

    Surgical Assistant certification (or willingness to obtain).

    Current CPR/AED certification; IV sedation experience a plus.

    Experience with dental software, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication.

    Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

    Mature, team-oriented, and dependable—professional and drama-free.
