Overview of Role

The Director of Admissions leads census growth, admission activities, and internal marketing functions. Looking for an energetic, multi-tasking individual who can develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, professionals, and community referral sources.

130-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, located in Central Orange County, CA is currently in search of a dynamic and passionate individual who is a self-motivated, team player and experienced to fill the role of Admissions Director.

Candidate will be an organized task manager for admissions to the facility and team support. We are interested in speaking to individuals who want to help provide high-quality care to our guests and families.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage the inquiry process from start to finish

Obtain authorization from managed care payors

Ensure all admission documents are properly filled out and input into the system

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care

Understand basic clinical terminology

Participate in meetings to alert appropriate staff members of projected admissions, room changes, discharges and appointments/tours

Knowledge of Allscripts, PCC and basic computer skills
