Primary Responsibilities

Manage the inquiry process from start to finish

Obtain authorization from managed care payors.

Ensure all admission documents are properly filled out and input into the system.

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care

Understand basic clinical terminology

Alert appropriate staff members of projected admissions, room changes, discharges and appointments/tours.

Knowledge of Allscripts, PCC and basic computer skills.

Large skilled nursing & rehab center is currently in search of a dynamic and passionate individual who is a self-motivated, team player and experienced to fill the role of Admissions Director.

You'll lead census growth, admission activities, and internal marketing functions.

You will be an energetic, multi-tasking individual who can develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, professionals, and community referral sources.

You will be an organized task manager for admissions to the facility and team support.

You will help provide high-quality care to our guests and families.
