SUMMARY:  

The Mortgage Loan Processor reviews and processes residential mortgage loan applications, and coordinates with Loan Officers and service providers (title, settlement, appraiser, etc.) to provide excellent service to the loan applicants. They are responsible for loan closing in a timely manner and in compliance with mortgage lending regulations.  

In this role you will obtain and analyze employment, income, and financial data, including the applicant's assets, expenses and collateral. You will also determine the applicant’s preliminary qualification for the loan request in accordance with the Credit Union and investor guidelines.  

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:  

• High School education or equivalent 
• 3+ years relevant work experience in fast pace mortgage retail or wholesale environment with an emphasis on service. 
• Desktop Underwriting – and Fannie Mae guidelines 
• Loan Product Advisor – and Freddie Mac guidelines 
• Mortgage Lending technology 
• Professional verbal and written communication 
• Ability to multi-task with good time management skills
• Review Closing Disclosure (Knowledge of TRID is helpful)
• Ability to Identify and collect verification documents and update loan information required to submit the loan to an underwriter for a successful credit decision.

SCHEDULE: Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm and some Saturdays & evenings.
