    We’re looking for a Senior Privacy Analyst with expertise in global and domestic privacy legislation, and corporate policy – specifically relating to the security of company personnel, hardware, software, networks and data.In this role you will develop privacy-protective and innovative approaches to help guide the implementation of both corporate policy and global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD). You’ll also be the go-to resource for all up-to-date information on newly emerging laws, as well as changes to existing, and any potential impact to corporate policy and procedure.You'll work closely with managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners across the company, serving as a subject matter expert for your team. You may also be tasked with contributing to external requests from third-party organizations.The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter, good team player, a creative problem solver, and excellent communicator (verbal and written). This candidate will be deeply familiar with privacy and public policy issues, and exercise independent judgement in advising on the implications of new policies and procedures. This candidate will also have a meaningful understanding of, and experience interacting with the privacy law community at-large. You should be passionate about the services we provide, and the people that we serve.Responsibilities include:Actively monitor and advise on local and global data privacy legal developmentsEvaluate and provide guidance on the privacy implications of physical security processes and systems/data governanceWork with lawyers, managers, and other stakeholders to help address policy, legal, engineering, business, and other privacy requirementsConsult with external experts to improve and guide our approach in creating privacy compliant policy and procedures and assist with conducting privacy reviews of internal products and external vendorsAnalyze global legislative and regulatory proposals concerning privacy, data security, and other technology issuesPreferred qualifications:Bachelor's degreeLaw degree preferred, but not required3-5 years of data privacy legal and/or compliance experienceExperience conducting privacy reviews and a working familiarity with privacy legislative frameworks related to data securityExperience in drafting policies, procedures, and manuals as well as preparing presentations and reports for internal managementExperience counseling clients around privacy issues and responding to regulators and customer inquiriesAbility to collaborate effectively, as well as plan and execute cross-functional initiativesExperience prioritizing multiple simultaneous projects Additional Responsibilities:Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.Contribute content and collaborate via the OrangePeople-Wiki/Knowledge Base.Provide status reports to OrangePeople Account Management as requested. About us:OrangePeople is an Enterprise Architecture and Project Management solutions company.
