Technical Project Manager
As the Technical Project Manager , you are accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. You'll lead and coordinate projects across focus areas such as Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Research Sciences, Machine Learning, and Business Intelligence. You're responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure. WHAT WILL I DO
Responsible for the overall management of the project across the Data and Analytics organization including planning, directing, and coordinating activities, to ensure technical solutions are implemented in a timely manner, and goals and objectives are accomplished
Partner with Data & Analytics Leadership Team to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing Technology to achieve the goals of the organization
Develop and review project scopes, considering resources and technological constraints with consideration to business impacts and identified risks
Create and execute project plans while revising as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements
Develop project standards and improving existing processes when applicable
Develop communications and standard operating procedures to bring enterprise-wide awareness to Data & Analytics initiatives
Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to project teams
Collaborate with the various functional team within the Data & Analytics department
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users
AM I QUALIFIED?
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant work experience
1 to 4 years of technical project/program management experience, including hands-on management of large, cross-functional projects
Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives
Ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations and communication strategies
Experience using project Management system tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience in the following areas a plus:
Data Warehouse solutions such as Redshift and Snowflake
Cloud environments such as AWS
Visualization and reporting platforms such as Power BI

Remote optional: Mondays and Fridays
