    We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our Global Digital Fitness team, to bring these services to life, across the company’s wide portfolio of digital offerings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for taking on complex problems and designing elegant, simple, and intuitive interactive interfaces for our core engagement products: large-scale, complex and function-heavy systems such as Orangetheory ‘At-Home’ web applications, mobile apps, and content production. SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE You will be responsible for researching, designing, and prototyping new user experiences. You flourish in a dynamic, ever-changing, and deadline driven environment. You are a natural collaborator and a phenomenal communicator, able to develop and present design ideas in a large team environment. Prior experience working within a technical environment is a key requirement. You should possess extraordinary visual and user interface design skills, as well as user-centered design principals. You have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for subtle details. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, you are able to grasp and distill highly complex issues and translate them into clean, focused, understandable solutions. You should be a self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision. The work that you design will be seen and experienced by millions of people around the world and will ultimately drive More Life. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Responsible for the Orangetheory image library and setting standards for use of icons, images, style sheets across all applications and web sites  
    • Responsible for continuity and Orangetheory standard style sheet/Look and feel across multiple platforms and environments
    • Cultivate a deep understanding of Orangetheory’s Product UX/UI styles, patterns and standardized elements and interactions across the organization.
    • Manage your bandwidth and project pipeline to execute designs in-line with the broader digital technology roadmap.
    • Conceptualize, design and develop user interface designs, using UX/UI best practices to drive improvements in design & methodology.
    • Work closely and collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and team leads, to translate requirements into high-quality visual solutions that fulfill the overall product/feature vision.
    • Create models that form the theoretical foundation for great solutions: workflow diagrams, flowcharts, storyboards, personas and other models.
    • Write thorough UI design specifications, style guides, and support Agile product development processes.
    • Create low-fi sketches/wireframes to inform directional feature development and be able to turn those into precise, hi-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypes for phased user testing.
    • Quickly iterate and offer versions based on design critique from peers, or from learnings found in user testing.
    • Ability to interpret and apply client branding/corporate identity guidelines onto new and existing applications and transactional (e-commerce/Mobile/consumer) websites.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

    • 6+ years of related work experience in UX/UI software design
    • An excellent on-line portfolio showcasing UX/UI and visual design work for mobile, desktop TV and web.
    • Experience designing consumer, enterprise software, or transactional web sites (e-commerce, Mobile, etc.).
    • Experience designing digital solutions for fitness, health, or wellness use cases a strong plus.
    • Experience workout closely with engineers to develop and iterate on interactive user-centered software experiences, in the Agile product development methodology.
    • A command of visual and communication design principles, with an obsession for details.
    • Can represent abstract concepts visually with workflows, wireframes, site maps, concept diagrams for Users and stakeholders at all technical levels.
    • Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Keynote and other design tools.
    • Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AfterEffects, or other tools.
    • Experience in researching users and conducting usability testing
    • Experience in data visualization for health and fitness metrics or related and applicable data sets and structure.
    • Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and able to function both independently, and in a team environment.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, organization and presentation skills; both written and verbal.
    • A passion for Orangetheory it’s products, and its members is a requirement.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position currently has no direct supervisory responsibilities; however, may be called upon to assist in managing external or internal resources. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job may operate both virtually (work from home) and in a professional office environment.
