We are a scientifically designed, one-of-a-kind, group personal training workout broken into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training. Led by highly skilled coaches, each Orangetheory Fitness workout incorporates endurance, strength and power elements through a variety of equipment including treadmills, rowing machines, TRX® suspension training and free weights. We have over 1,400 locations presently open, including 200 internationally.
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
As Vice President of People Resources you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our company's human resources department. This role supervises and provides consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, certain aspects of employee training and development, labor relations management, and storage of data across all aspects of people management. The Vice President of People Resources has a broad and comprehensive knowledge of all matters related to the area of People Management, including talent acquisition, and overseeing the company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) program. To excel in this role, the VP of People resources must have a solid understanding and experience of commercial and business acumen to add business value with a focus on continued growth. We are looking for a strong leader with the ability to develop and drive numerous people resources related projects from conception to completion. Experience working for a global franchise brand is highly desired.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide statistical reporting and analysis to the Executive Team as it relates to the people side of the business
Create and deliver briefings to executives
Oversee the company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) program, acting as the committee chairperson
Oversee an organization’s recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes
Plan and implement employee benefit, payroll, health and safety programs
Facilitate and monitor the implementation of standardized human resource processes
Ensure that all employees are adhering to all internal policies and legal standards, so to minimize risk to the business and brand
Implement innovative methods for managing the people side of the business
Oversee and manage Payroll for the entire organization
Work closely with Accounting and Finance on required record keeping and reporting
Oversee the development and implementation of a continuous, creative calendar of employee culture-enhancing programs in to improve employee engagement and retention
Develop sustainable methods and strategy for career development and succession planning
Effectively structure benefits programs to attract and retain top talent
Continue to work with technical team to design, integrate and implement human resource software systems for better efficiency
Recommend new and improved measures for performance evaluations and management
Work closely with the leadership team regarding employee engagement and satisfaction

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
Previous experience working as a HR Director or above for a minimum of seven (7) years
In-depth knowledge about domestic and international Human Resource Processes, employment legislation, and legal regulations
Understanding and experience with Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing strategies
Excellent knowledge of all aspects of HR management
Experience with HR tools and recruiting software
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

Great interpersonal and communication skills
Possess a broad knowledge of all areas that involve the successful management of the workforce
