    SALES MANAGER JOB DUTIES:

    Orangetheory Fitness is a trendsetting franchise fitness organization with 500+ locations open in the US and Canada and 700+ new fitness studios under development nationally and internationally. We are currently seeking qualified Sales Managers that are keen on driving sales and service excellence for our professional group fitness training facilities in the (enter your location name/area here).

    As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the sales teams in our facilities. This critical position must have a solid understanding of sales and marketing. As the sales leader, the SM must execute a lead generation / marketing strategies plan to increase fitness program sales as well as promote the health and wellness benefits that are associated with a healthy lifestyle. This leader must pose a high caliber approach to coaching and staff development.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.

    · Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit.

    · Implements sales programs by developing field sales action plans.

    · Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

    · Establishes and adjusts selling techniques by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

    · Completes sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

    · Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

    · Maintains sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

    · Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

    · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    · Develop a high energy culture through contests and incentive based motivation

    · Responsible for meeting performance metrics (KPI's), revenue, ordering, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance

    · Be promotionally-oriented and have the ability to direct sales through company required outreach programs

    SALES MANAGER SKILLS:

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    Proven sales leadership REQUIRED!

    Must possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clients

    Min 2-3 years of previous sales experience required

    Min 2-3 years of management experience required, including directly overseeing all aspects of staff management from hiring, training, supporting, discipline, and termination

    Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor

    Must possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clients

    Solid verbal and written communication skills required

    Strong computer skills required with knowledge of MS office programs (Excel, Word)

    Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3+ years of management experience preferred

    Flexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed

    Health & Fitness minded people with a passion for fitness strongly preferred

    COMPENSATION:
