The Marketing Manager will be responsible for all marketing programs for the Orangetheory Fitness Affiliate studios in Edmonton, Vancouver, Saskatoon, and Ontario. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this candidate will provide direction to the Affiliate studios, working directly with them to reinforce marketing performance. The candidate will perform online audits for compliance and training, and will assist in new studio marketing launches (pre-sales) and ongoing studio marketing.

    The Marketing Manager will be responsible to develop and execute annual marketing plans for Orangetheory Fitness Affiliate studios based on the following five priorities:

    Generate external traffic (prospects) towards Orangetheory Fitness studios through various advertising mediums (web, social media, direct mail, radio, email communications, outdoor, TV, etc.)

    Promote sales, the various workout programs, and the benefits of Orangetheory Fitness

    Develop programs to increase member retention

    Operate the department in the most cost-effective manner

    Support studios with ongoing marketing efforts including print material refreshes, member communications, external events, in-studio engagement activities, and more.

    HERE'S WHAT THE ROLE WILL ENTAIL:

    Work directly with the master franchisor and its marketing department to support Orangetheory Fitness marketing programs within the Affiliates studios.

    Proactive monitoring of studio sales and marketing performance

    Work with the Vice President of Operations and Regional Directors to develop and support local marketing plans, strategies and tools

    Monitor social channels and engage in ongoing social listening to maintain positive community brand perception

    Develop and manage all corporate studio marketing programs and new initiatives

    Act as primary point of contact for local level marketing agencies to monitor and drive performance.

    Assist and monitor studio marketing plans, co-op budgets and agency media buying practices to ensure all marketing tactics and activities align with the Orangetheory Fitness brand and adhere to brand standards

    Able to make decisions based off data and examination of analytics, searches and webinars

    Document all marketing initiatives, and track costs in relation to marketing initiative. Supply monthly reports and financial analysis regarding marketing business conditions and strategy effectiveness

    Coordinate submission of orders for monthly marketing campaigns

    Copywriting for email newsletters and web sites and assist with managing social media content and posts including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

    Coordinate and facilitate studio outreach and guerilla marketing schedules and support studio managers with staff training and tools so they can attain lead generation targets.

    Assist with coordination of trade shows including registration, logistics, materials, displays

    Assist in procuring the needed services for marketing, printing, mailing and other related services

    Maintain purchase order log, budgets, financial statements and other accounting related ledgers as it pertains to Marketing

    Maintenance of project matrix outlining all jobs in the pipeline

    Perform other related duties to the work described

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOUThe successful candidate must be exceedingly well organized, able to work under pressure, flexible, possess excellent judgment and have the ability to prioritize responsibilities in order to maximize resources and impact.

    Post Secondary degree/diploma/certificate in business and marketing and minimum 3 years’ in related experience, plus strong experience in online and social media marketing

    A self-starter with extremely high level of motivation, enthusiasm and ambition

    Advanced MS Office & Outlook Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Proficiency in Social Media and the Internet

    Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

    Able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and follow-up

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Well-developed analytical skills

    Basic understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures

    Intermediate understanding of performance review process

    Ability to prepare and present ideas and recommendations to colleagues and senior management

    POSITION TYPE AND LOCATION

    This is a part-time position that will be based out of our OTF Head Office in downtown Edmonton. The successful candidate will be required to work 20-25 hours per week.
