We are looking for coaches who can make our members feel welcome, and that they’re an integral part of the hour you spend together. Coaches whose positive energy stays with a member long after they’ve left the studio, and they find themselves counting the hours till their next workout.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading up to 36 participants through 60-minute OTF-specific group training sessions with positivity, energy, motivation, and enthusiasm.

Managing the safety of participants in relation to heart rate response, exercise technique, posture, as well as joint stress and stability when resistance training.

Marketing your OTF coaching services inside and outside the OTF studio. (Examples include marketing events with your OTF team, corporate events, sporting events, etc.)

Building OTF attendance and retaining current clientele.

Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the training floor, as well as other areas of the studio when needed.

Attending monthly fitness staff meetings and all relevant webinars and other requested corporate meetings and continuing education workshops.

Handling member concerns/feedback in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution and retention, when applicable.

Assisting Sales Associates with OTF studio tours/sales with new client prospects as well as staying abreast of current service and marketing offerings.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED Must hold a current Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Certification from an OTF approved education company: NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, NCSF and/or AFAA. NSCA CSCS and ACSM EP also accepted.

Must have current CPR/AED certification or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Must have 6 months or more of professional experience teaching groups and/or personal training in the fitness industry.

Must have intermediate-level knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.

Must have the ability to multi-task and stay organized while training up to 36 members in one group training session.

Must have the ability to progress and regress exercises on the fly, in real-time.

Must have the desire and capacity to train all fitness levels -- novice to elite.

Must be positive, motivating, and have effective interpersonal communication skills.

Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Must be able to work weekends when needed and as requested by your Studio Manager and/or Head Coach.

Must have the strength and ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Bachelor's degree in an Exercise Related Field is highly desirable but not required.

JOB TYPE: Part-time

COMPENSATION: Total compensation between $37.50 to $80 a class after hourly pay and attendance bonus.
