We are looking for a Marketing and Promotion coordinator to assist with all internal and external marketing, event and outreach campaigns. This position requires the ability to identify marketing and promotion opportunities and oversee the execution of those opportunities across all Austin Fitness Group markets.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will join a fast-paced work environment that supports seven markets in North America. You will contribute to member communications across multiple channels while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with the company's goals. In addition to core responsibilities, employees must maintain an “all hands-on deck” spirit regarding campaigns, support and responsibilities. All employees are encouraged to promote a positive brand of health and wellness.

    The ideal candidate will be an organized multi-tasker who relishes outreach and has a keen creative eye. Ultimately, our candidate is passionate about fitness, can collaborate and communicate across multiple teams and understands membership-based needs and opportunities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Marketing coordination of all sales and member support material

    Event coordination including canvassing all markets for new opportunities

    Event creation and execution of off-site and earned media opportunities

    Graphic design support using brand elements

    Prepare compelling written & visual content to engage new as well as existing members

    Work with the social media coordinator on messaging and online reviews i.e. Google My Business, Yelp

    Purchase and monitor inventory of promotional materials

    Assist in paid marketing campaigns, to support new member lead generation

    Track, report and evaluate all internal marketing campaigns and programs

    Activate email marketing campaign and report on results

    Assist with organization of the monthly Execution Guide and monthly newsletter

    Maintain marketing spend of all marketing promotional materials

    Monitor and respond to incoming inquiries related to marketing & communications

    Support Marketing team to schedule marketing & franchisee support webinars

    Support Marketing team and key stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met

    Record and maintain accurate marketing calendar and results

    Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverable to key stakeholders and provide instructions for use or promotion

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

    Become an advocate for the company within each community

    Demonstrate ability to implement a comprehensive outreach strategy. Support team in driving strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.

    Monitor trends in all promotional aspects

    Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective

    Identify opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the brand.

    Analyze campaigns, translate data into recommendations for increased revenue opportunities

    Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of event promotion.

    Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of those promotions to maximize results.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Promotion, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.

    3+ years work experience as a promotion, creative, advertising or marketing coordinator

    Experience with Google My Business, Yelp, Hootsuite, Mail Chimp

    Certified, Google Analytics and Google My Business

    Proficiency in full Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

    Knowledge of graphic design

    Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator

    Strong organizational skills

    Ability to communicate effectively to leadership team

    Takes initiative and applies critical thinking to solve problems

    Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

    High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    Ability to work independently; passionate about winning and results oriented

    Ability to transport self to and from studios regularly

    Strong ability to collaborate across multiple functions

    Strong ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
