West Coast Fitness - a Leading Orangetheory Developer - is looking for a self-driven Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. This position is based at our Headquarters located in the beautiful Los Angeles, CA. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team. The Staff Accountant’s primary responsibilities include, preparation of journal entries, performing various account reconciliations, analyzing bank financial statements and reports, and assisting management with monthly & quarterly close processes. The ideal candidate should possess post qualification experience in financial accounting with an emphasis in analysis and reporting. 3+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics is preffered. Responsibilities

Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity

Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements

Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance

0 - 2 years' experience in accounting

Proficient in Microsoft Excel
