We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to our operations, as the successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, processing, and managing customer orders into our system. The Order Entry Specialist will work closely with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure orders are processed quickly and accurately.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Input customer order data accurately and efficiently into the company database and order management system
• Verify order information for accuracy, completeness, and pricing
• Process purchase orders, quotes, and order modifications in a timely manner
• Communicate with customers and internal departments to resolve order discrepancies or issues
• Monitor order status and provide updates to customers and team members
• Identify and report order processing errors and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all orders processed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or relevant experience preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in order entry, data entry, or a related administrative role
• Proficiency with computer systems and office software (Excel, Word, email)
• Strong typing skills and ability to input data accurately with minimal errors
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
