    We are in search of a highly motivated Program Coordinator to join the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America in Washington, D.C. The Program Coordinator will work with a team to create effective programs and will be in charge of managing the details of all programs and events and making sure they are executed to excellence and in a cost-effective manner. The Program Coordinator will also be liaising with other departments to guarantee that all programs are running smoothly and implementing proven methods for future programs. The ideal candidate should have great communication and teamwork abilities, advanced problem-solving skills, an impeccable eye for attention to detail, and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the National Executive Director and will be fully in-office. The compensation package includes health insurance, dental coverage, vision coverage, vacation/sick (PTO) time, and matching retirement contributions. Salary is dependent on level of experience. Responsibilities: • Develop, plan, execute, and evaluate immersive, engaging programs/meetings/events • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment • Assist in marketing and outreach efforts • Generate financial reports and records for all program-related costs • Oversee daily administrative, operational, and logistical activities directly related to programs • Maintain consistent communication with external vendors and organizers • Travel approximately two times per year • Work closely with organizational member experts to support program coordination every step of the way Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Proven experience in developing, coordinating, and executing successful programs • Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently • Good understanding of procedures that improve productivity • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of Italian or Italian-American culture and language (preferred) Compensation: $53,000 - $63,000 yearly
