**
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION**
A BIPOC CRM Passionate about and understands the dynamics of both individual and group facilitation. Understands Trauma and its impact in communities of color. Possesses an excitement for learning, growing, teaching and contributing to those in Recovery.
Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) that will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide peer recovery support to individuals with substance use and mental health disorders, while supporting a trauma informed care perspective.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some knowledge of chemical dependency, addictions and mental health concerns
- Must possess a CRM or PSS certification

Experience:

- Ability to adhere to OCC's drug-free workplace, which encourages a safe, healthy and productive work environment
- An employee shall not, in the workplace, unlawfully manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess or use a controlled substance or alcohol
- Must pass a pre-employment TB test and background check
- Adhere to agency's nondiscrimination policies
- Maintain current Oregon or Washington Driver's License
- Maintain current auto insurance
- Ability to effectively interact with coworkers, and clients with diverse backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, lifestyles and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity
