About the Role:

Communications Install Solutions Inc is looking for a driven and skilled Field Technician to join our team in Hermiston, OR. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in the field, solving real-world communications and installation challenges. Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot communications systems and equipment in the field

Perform site surveys and assess technical requirements prior to installation

Run and terminate low-voltage cabling, including coaxial, ethernet, and fiber optic lines

Configure and test communications hardware and network equipment

Respond to service calls and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

Document work completed, materials used, and any site-specific findings

Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure on-time project completion

Requirements:

Prior experience in communications, low-voltage, or telecommunications installation

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and field testing equipment

Knowledge of cabling standards, signal testing, and industry best practices

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying outdoor conditions
