Job Description
There is a current opening for a Temporary Human Resources Assistant. This position serves as a liaison for the Human Resources Department by providing excellent employee relations in areas such as policy and procedure enforcement, recruiting, performance management, coaching, discipline, payroll, benefits, etc.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Assists employees with questions and provides requested information on company.
· Prepares required documents for new hires and terminations.
· New hire reporting to appropriate agency (E-verify, justice department, etc.)
· Drafts and/or adapts existing correspondence and reports.
· Inputs Human Resources information systems (ADP Payroll, ATS, and Intelex).
· Provides back up for Receptionist activities, including all corresponding duties.
· Assists with filing, HR e-mail box distribution, intranet information, etc.
· Assists Recruiting Programs Manager and Employee Relations Manager with various projects, programs, and events.
· Assists with duties pertaining to Staffing Partners and Associates.
· Interprets and translates documents and conversations as needed from English to Spanish (if possible).
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bi-lingual (Spanish) written and verbal skills preferred.
· Knowledge of an HRIS or similar record-keeping system. Knowledge of ADP preferred.
· Demonstrated strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
· Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback and be extremely adaptable and flexible.
· Proven verbal and written communication skills.
· Proven organizational skills.
· Proven ability to develop letters, memos, forms, etc. from basic information.
· Ability to be an innovative self-starter with the initiative to learn new processes and grasp new concepts while working independently.
