We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Organic Channel Consultant to lead and optimize our organic search and discovery initiatives. This role is critical for unlocking significant revenue growth through enhanced visibility in search engines (SEO) and AI-powered generative engines (AEO).
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving organic performance, capable of providing expert guidance, developing comprehensive strategies, and overseeing their implementation. This is a consultant/contractor position , and the successful candidate will work closely with our in-house marketing team to achieve our organic growth objectives.
The Organic Channel Consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end management and strategic direction of our organic channels, including but not limited to:
Conduct in-depth SERP, competitor, and industry analysis to identify and suggest high-impact keyword targets.
Provide recommendations for internal linking strategies and schema markup implementation to improve search visibility and understanding.
Perform monthly technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues impacting organic performance.
Suggest ongoing content refreshes and rewrites to maintain and improve search rankings.
Provide recommendations for optimizing existing pages and identifying new page creation opportunities on the website.
Create pillar strategy documents with detailed content recommendations, guiding our in-house content team.
Provide content outlines per month, to ensure content aligns with organic goals.
Collaborate closely with in-house content writers, social media resources, and graphic designers, providing clear direction and briefs.
Proven experience in SEO and AEO strategy and implementation for B2B SaaS.
Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and generative AI search mechanisms.
Expertise in keyword research, SERP analysis, technical SEO, and on-page optimization.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and other relevant analytics platforms.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that drive organic growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Experience in creating detailed content briefs and pillar strategy documents.
Familiarity with various SEO tools (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and their application for analysis and insights.
