    About the Role:

    We are seeking an experienced and strategic Organization Design Consultant to lead high-impact transformation initiatives from assessment through to operational implementation. This role will play a critical part in helping clients (or internal stakeholders) align their organizational structure, operating model, and talent capabilities with their strategic goals. You will work across diverse industries or business units, driving design excellence and ensuring sustainable change.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assessment & Current State Diagnosis

    • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys with key stakeholders to assess organizational health.
    • Analyze org charts, workforce data, decision-making patterns, and key processes to identify misalignments.
    • Perform operating model assessments, capability diagnostics, and benchmarking analyses.
    • Synthesize findings into actionable insights and build the case for change.
    • Define design criteria in alignment with business strategy.

    Organization Design & Future State Development

    • Develop and apply organization design principles to structure teams, roles, and reporting lines.
    • Design and document future-state operating models and organizational structures.
    • Clarify accountabilities, decision rights, spans of control, and role interfaces.
    • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to define role charters and job descriptions.
    • Create implementation roadmaps, transition plans, and change impact assessments.

    Operationalization & Change Enablement

    • Lead or support the planning and execution of organization transformations.
    • Guide leadership alignment sessions and change readiness assessments.
    • Support talent placement, upskilling, and realignment initiatives.
    • Support development and execution of communication strategies to cascade the new design.
    • Monitor post-implementation effectiveness and provide recommendations for adjustments.
    • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to align systems, policies, and metrics with the new design.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • 5–10+ years of experience in organization design, operating model transformation, or related consulting roles.
    • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; ability to translate data into insights and structure into action.
    • Expertise in org design frameworks, change management, and large-scale transformation.
    • Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
    • Comfortable working in complex, matrixed, and dynamic environments.
    • Proficiency with tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and organization design software (e.g., OrgVue, Power BI, Lucidchart) is a plus.
