Job Summary

Transition With Care is seeking Organizers/Packers/Team members to join our A+ Team! As an Organizer/Packer, you will be working in the homes of our senior clients, helping them to downsize and prepare their household belongings for relocation to local retirement communities. You will be gathering household accessories and personal belongings and securely packaging them in a way that will adequately protect them while in transit to their new home. Once the furniture and belongings arrive to the new home, you will be unpacking our clients belongings and putting them away in a organized and decorative fashion. You will responsible for maintaining a clean, safe working environment, working closely with other team members to keep a good flow of work and ensure the work is completed on time. The ideal candidate enjoys being of service, staying busy, has excellent attention to detail, and is comfortable working on their feet for up to 4-6 hours a day.

Responsibilities

Ability to receive/communicate schedules and assignments via text, e-mail, and phone

Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 30 miles radius of Charlotte City limits

Comfortable with assembling packing materials appropriate for the items to be packed, documenting packed items on labels, and securing boxes with tape

Comfortable working in a house setting and promotes a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications

Attention to detail

Clean background check

The ability to work well independently and as part of a team

The ability to work on your feet while bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling

Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs.

Flexible schedule and can work until the job is done. .
