For more information, please visit our website: www.origene.com SUMMARY OF POSITION: The qualified candidate will support the company by entering in all incoming orders. The role is in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions. The individual will be responsible for reviewing and accurately entering purchase orders into OriGene’s order system which is a CRM. The individual will also work closely with the sales, marketing, customer service and operations team to ensure the accuracy of the orders and make sure they are processed in a timely manner. The individual will take orders via email, over the phone and via our online shopping cart. RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES:  Answer incoming calls in support of order entry, customer service and suppliers.  Accurately enter and process orders in a timely manner.  Work with appropriate parties to resolve any issues related to entering orders.  Work with international customers and distributors on pricing inquires and processing orders.  Provide proforma invoices to international customers.  Create quotes for standard items when needed by the sales team.  Check all orders in the shopping cart for accuracy before they are processed and approved.  Work with the billing department to determine if customers are eligible to order and what their order limit is.  Work with the finance department to assist customers with credit applications. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience  High school diploma or equivalent.  2 years of order entry experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Internet)  Must be able to handle detailed information in a fast-paced environment  Excellent written and oral communication skills  Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and multitask  Be flexible and adaptive to changes  Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude  High speed internet access at home  Strong organizational skills SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Strong initiative and drive to resolve problems and implement process improvements.  Prior upselling experience.  Ability to understand customers’ needs with strong objection/response handling.
