    The Center for Brain Recovery at the Hanley Center in West Palm Beach is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and holistic minded individual with a thorough and scientific understanding of how addiction impacts the brain.

    Origins Behavioral Healthcare (OBH)

    At OBH we provide a comprehensive continuum of individualized alcohol and drug addiction treatment programs and recovery support for adults, including those with co-occurring disorders. Origins’ treatment approach unites effective addiction medicine and evidence-based clinical strategies with a profound immersion in the timeless 12-Step experience. As one of the nation’s premier alcohol and drug addiction treatment providers, we embrace both the individual and the family because we know first- hand that the disease of addiction can be devastating to everyone involved.

    The Position:

    This position is ideal for individuals interested in a stable substance use treatment setting with opportunity for ongoing supervision and training.

    The shift is Tuesday through Saturday from 9am - 5.30pm.

    Position responsibilities include but not limited to:

    Facilitate meditation with patients

    Facilitate biofeedback and neurofeedback

    Facilitate psychoeducation groups

    Administer psychological and neuropsychological assessments under supervision of licensed psychologist

    Attaining and staying up to date with patient records, daily progress notes.

    Documenting interactions/sessions/groups into patients’ medical records.

    Scheduling time effectively for patients, while remaining flexible with schedule changes.

    Communicating with Primary Counselors on certain interventions needed.

    The Qualifications:

    Associates degree or bachelor’s degree with CAP/CAC

    OR

    Masters level clinician who is licensed or license eligible

    If in recovery, two (2) years of continuous sobriety preferred.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    Must be computer literate and be familiar with most Microsoft products and network components.

    Experience in EMR documentation

    Good writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to communicate effectively.
